GATE Question of The Day - Digital Electronics Questions

Hi dear GATE aspirants! I am SouravMani.From today we are going to discuss Digital Electronics Questions on daily basis. hope you all co-operate and making use of it.

The logic functions implemented by the circuit below is (Ground implies a logic "0")





A) F = AND(P,Q)
B) F = OR(P,Q)
C) F = XNOR(P,Q)
D) F = XOR(P,Q)


I kindly requesting of the GATE aspirants to justify yours valuable Answers.

hoh man... i didn't mean that...actually every one can solve easy questions right if they know the concepts perfectly... but i am telling you that whether the question is easy or tough but it should be some what tricky and thinkable dude...i am telling you that only...

I0 fed with logic 0
I1 fed with logic 1
I2 fed with logic 1
I3 fed with logic 0
Hence in order to select I1 or I2 we can have combinations either Q=0 P=1 for I1 and Q=1 P=0 for I2. So we can represent this easily by XOR between P and Q. Hence F=XOR(P,Q). :)
